WELCOME TO THE ETH MONTHLY DEVOTION

As Christians we are encouraged to have daily devotions or quiet time with the Lord for several reasons.

One of the primary reasons is to build a personal relationship with our God. By setting aside time each day to read the Bible and pray, we grow closer to God and learn more about His character and His will for our lives.

Another reason is to model Jesus’ example. Jesus often withdrew from the crowds to spend time alone with God in prayer. By following Jesus’ example, we can deepen our faith and become more like Him.

Daily/weekly devotions also help us stay spiritually nourished. The Bible is often compared to spiritual food, and just as our bodies need food to survive, our souls need the Word of God to thrive.

Finally, daily/weekly devotions can help us experience God’s blessings. By spending time in prayer and reading the Bible, we experience joy, success, strength, answered prayer, and peace.  So, we hope our weekly devo of God's word will prove to be a blessing in your life.
