            Jhaismen Collins

Jhaismen Collins was born in Jacksonville, NC she is the third oldest of four girls.  Her father was a Marine and she traveled around the world as a child which allowed her to experience cultures and religions that were similar, yet different from the God she has come to love and serve.

Jhaismen accepted Christ at a young age, however, she allowed life to pull

her into a world of sin.  Despite her choices, Jhaismen always knew who God was and she knew her purpose was to serve Him. Through the death of her mother, Jhaismen rededicated her life back to God accepting the purpose God had for her life.  Jhaismen also became an Encouraging the Heart, Woman to Woman Partner through the influence of her mother.

Jhaismen is a licensed clinical social worker, having studied at the University of South Florida where she obtained a bachelor's degree in psychology and criminology.  She continued her studies at Florida State University where she obtained a Master's degree in Social Work.

Jhaismen is an advocate for children and families, bridging the gaps of poverty, lack of education, violence, and diminished skills to provide tools, support, guidance, and assistance needed to break the cycles of defeat in the lives of those she comes in contact with.  She is passionate about being a change agent and empowering the lives of others.  If she can reach one, she feels it will have been a job well done!

Jhaismen continues making moves to have a closer more intimate relationship with Christ leaving her fears behind. Her life scripture is found in 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind."
